What’s Going on with Me

I sent my finished novella to my editor and have started outlining a new one. I’ve jotted down some key points I want to hit in the story, and I’ll begin writing on Monday.

Book three in the Rock Creek Falls series is coming soon! I’m giving the manuscript one last read-through to catch any lingering errors before sending it off for formatting. I received the cover from my designer on Tuesday, and I can’t wait to do a cover reveal. I’m so excited about this novel—without giving too much away, let’s just say the hero finds himself playing detective when a past mystery resurfaces.

I’m also deep in edits for book four in the Rock Creek Falls series. This one is going to take a bit longer because the manuscript needs a lot of work, but I’m excited to say it’s a multicultural romance!

On top of all that, I have a big announcement coming soon—something I’ve been wanting to do for ten years, and it’s finally happening! Stay tuned.

What I’m Watching (or Streaming)

Two of my favorite shows have ended: Outlander and Silo. I’ve been watching Outlander since it debuted in 2014—wow, I hadn’t realized it’s been that long! Naturally, I jumped right into Silo because of Hugh Howey. I’ve been a fan of his since 2013, so I had to check it out.

I also binged the second season of Night Agency, but I have to admit, it didn’t quite live up to the first season. Rose seriously got on my last nerve!

But let me tell you, Paradise is the show to watch. I hate having to wait for each new episode, but honestly, that just adds to the excitement. The twists and turns keep me hooked!

Another favorite of mine, Reacher, is coming back soon! Season two was solid, but season one was supreme. Fingers crossed the third season delivers just as well—it premieres on February 20th!

I might have to find another show to binge-watch in the meantime, but for now, that’s it.
