June has flown by, and it's time for another monthly wrap-up and my new book release!

New Release: Pretend with Me

I'm thrilled to announce that my latest novella, Pretend with Me, is now available on Amazon! This fake fiancé romance pays homage to two of my favorite films: the 80s classic Can't Buy Me Love and the early 2000s gem Serendipity (I'm a huge John Cusack fan!). Without giving away spoilers, readers will definitely recognize the movie references woven into a scene in the story.

From the Writing Cave

Writing update: I've finished another novella! Off Limits is currently with my editor and will be back in a couple of weeks. This one's an age-gap, brother's best friend romance stay tuned for the release date. I'm also still working on my full-length novel, though I'll admit I keep getting distracted by shiny new story ideas (the struggle is real!).

Currently Reading

I'm working through A Red Death by Walter Mosley (yes, the author behind Devil in a Blue Dress and that fantastic Denzel Washington movie). It's taking me longer than usual to get through, but I'm determined to finish no DNF-ing for me!

What I'm Watching

Currently streaming: Ironheart on Disney+. It's good, not great, but the plot has me hooked – and you know I can't resist Marvel content.

Recently watched: The Accountant 2. Solid sequel, though I still prefer the original.

Highly anticipated: The Old Guard 2 drops July 2nd starring Charlize Theron! If you haven't seen the first one, please do yourself a favor and watch it, you won't regret it.
