October Author Monthly Wrap-up: Writing Process, Editing, and Reading

Another month has gone by, and a new year is fast approaching. I'm thankful to live another day and another year, but I wish time would slow down. Let's dive into this short monthly wrap-up!

Newest Release

I still haven't uploaded my finished novella to Amazon yet. What am I waiting for? I don't know. I can only say that my motivation is down. What happened to it? I can't say. Life, I guess, is my only conclusion. Though I try to do what I can on the days that I can.

Coming Release

The upcoming release will be Off Limits (My Brother's Best Friend). Yep, that's the story that I still need to upload to Amazon. I'll get it up there soon.

From the Writing Cave

In my last update, I was writing chapter thirteen. I'm disappointed to say the needle hasn't moved much—I'm on chapter eighteen. Most writers would have finished writing the book and had it edited by now. But life has taken a front seat to my writing.

Currently Reading

I finished Pretty Girls by Karin Slaughter. That book was crazy. It wrecked me for days. Please check out my blog if you're curious about what I wrote.

What I'm Watching

I rewatched a few old favorites like Bring It Down the House, Uncle Buck, and Tremors. There's nothing like watching some great movies from the late '80s, '90s, and 2000s.

P.S.

I finished all of S.A. Cosby's books—they were absolutely fantastic. I added an infographic to show my ranking, from best to least. I will add that all the books were 4 to 4½ stars.
