August has flown by, and once again it's time for another author monthly wrap-up!
Newest Release
I haven't uploaded my new release to Amazon yet; it's sitting on my computer waiting to be formatted. I'm also waiting until I get about halfway into the new story I'm writing before I release it. My writing is slow, which is totally my fault. I'm bombarded with doing other things besides writing. Perhaps I should cut those extracurricular activities so I can move faster, but I can't; doing more of what I love brings me joy.

Coming Release
My upcoming release will be Off Limits (My Brother's Best Friend). This story is about handsome plumber Tucker who has hidden his feelings for Olivia for years because she happens to be his best friend's sister. With this story, you'll get to enjoy some bull riding competitions, singing, and a little bit of family drama.
From the Writing Cave
Per my last update, I was working on an outline for another novella. Well, I've finished that outline and started writing the story about a week ago. I'm currently on chapter six! This one is about Elle (Emily's older sister) and Clint. Elle is searching for her own happiness and thinks having a baby is the key. Clint is a Deputy Sheriff who arrests Elle for trespassing. It's going to have some funny banter, family fun, and a possible marriage of convenience.
Currently Reading
I was currently reading S.A. Cosby book, All the Sinners Bleed. I finished it Thursday night. Before that, it was Freida McFadden's The Housemaid, that book got into my psyche and stayed there for three days! You can read more about what I had to say in my blog post: Psychological Thriller Book Review: The Housemaid by Freida McFadden. Now I’m about to start my fourth S.A. Cosby book, Razorblade Tears.

What I'm Watching
I'm not really watching any movies at the moment, but I am re-watching an old favorite series that appeared on Netflix in 2017 called Anne with an E. It's a retelling of Anne of Green Gables, the novel by Lucy Maud Montgomery. If you haven't seen this show, you should give it a watch. The show ran for three seasons on Netflix and it's absolutely wonderful.
That's all for now! Thanks for reading, and I'll see you in next month's wrap-up.
XOXO,
Nola
