Reading and Editing

I’ve been battling fatigue lately, which has made it hard to stay on top of everything. Despite this, I managed to finish the return edits from my editor. With any luck, the next book in the series, Until It’s Over, will be available on Amazon by the second week of August.

In reading news, I finally finished a book! I read Seven Days in June by Tia Williams. It took me three months, but that had nothing to do with the story itself and everything to do with my fatigue. The book was excellent. I gave it four stars. It was engaging, funny, and heartbreaking, with superb writing. Tia Williams truly has a way with words. For those who prefer less explicit content, you’ll be pleased to know this book isn’t overly sexualized. There was one other thing that bothered me, but I'll keep that to myself. Next on my list is Beach Read by Emily Henry. Hopefully, it won’t take me three months to finish it! 😊
