Welcome to April

Where did March go? It went way too fast for me. But yet I'm thrilled because it means warmer weather on the horizon. I'm looking forward to Spring, but not all the rain it's going to bring. I'm afraid of thunder and lightning. When it happens, I usually duck my head under the covers and whisper a prayer to God! That helps me. How do you feel about Spring? Is it your favorite season?

What's Ahead

Hey, do you have anything you're working on? If you do, I hope it works out for you.

What's next for me is another Book Funnel promotion. Yeah, I know, but don't judge me. LOL. I'm just an iddy bibby fish in a large pond trying to make a ripple. And how else am I supposed to meet new friends? I don't have any friends except three co-workers. (That's right, cue the music). Truthfully, it's hard meeting new people. No one wants to be friends anymore. And that is sad.

Silhouetted couple embraces against a sparkling purple-orange backdrop. Text: "It's so romantical," "Clean Romance," and "Grab a Free Book." Floral design borders.

Well, anyhoo, back to the Book Funnel promotion. It's a Clean Romance Promotion that runs from April 1st to April 30th. And all the books are FREE to download. Take a look, I'm sure you'll find a couple of bangers that pique your interest. Plus, it gives you a chance to find another new favorite author. When you're ready, just click the image or the button below and it will take you right there.

Currently Reading

I took a three-week break from reading but I'm back and currently reading Freida McFadden's new novel, Want to Know a Secret. I didn't want to fall into a reading slump! Last time that happened it took me a long time to find my way out.

Want to know my thoughts on the book, come back later and read my book review.

What I'm Watching/Watched

I watched a few new movies and some old favorites. My favorite TV series Paradise is over. It was good but not as good as the first season.

I watched War Machine (I'm an Alan Ritchson fan!) Then I dove into The Thursday Murder Club, Home Front, Safe, House of David, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Young Sherlock. Outlander started so I'm watching it too!

Evil Under the Sun and Appointment with Death (who doesn't love Hercule Poirot!) I revisited an old fav, Death on the Nile. I love Agatha Christie. And I finished with Little Women (the Susan Sarandon and Winona Ryder version.)

Whew! That was a mouthful!

That's all, for now see you next month!

XOXO,

Nola 🤍
